Verifying Your Info & Using the Document Center

In order for you to open a Horseplay account, we must verify that you are at least 21 years old and confirm your state of residence. That's why you have to submit these details when you first sign up:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Date of Birth
  • Residential Address
  • Phone Number
  • Last 4 SSN (Full 9 in New York)

All of these details, including SSN, are required by state regulations in order for us to process your application. If the information you submit cannot be automatically verified we may ask you to provide documentation that can help our Player Experience team confirm your details. If such documentation is required, you will see a notice on your screen and an email notification will also be sent. You can easily submit your documents online or contact the Player Experience team for assistance.

1. Valid and current government-issued photo ID 

You'll need to submit clear images of these documents, including all information. That includes the front & back of licenses and ID cards. The full document must be visible in the image. Examples of such documentation include:

  • Driver's License
  • State Identification Card
  • Passport

2. Proof of residence

In order to verify your state of residence, we may request a recent official document reflecting your registered address. Examples of such documentation include:

  • Utility bill
  • Phone bill
  • Bank statement
  • Lease agreement

3. Payment Method Documentation

In addition to verifying your age and state of residence, we may occasionally need to request proof of ownership for specific payment methods when processing certain transactions. Examples of such documentation include:

  • Credit/Debit card image
  • Bank statement

Upload Documents

Requested documents can be uploaded via the Documents Center. To get there, log into your account, tap your name - found at the upper right of your screen - to open to open the drop down information menu. Select Account Settings and then tap Documents Center.




Attach your chosen documents, enter your password and click the Submit for Review button.


Additional Documentation

In certain cases when you are dealing directly with the Player Experience team, they may email you a secure upload link to submit requested documentation. In such a case your helpful Horseplay team member will walk you through the process. We're always here to help.
